Another piece along the same lines. Portraying a synthesis of the Human and Natural elements. Decided to work with color this time as well as to do more digital painting as opposed to straight photo-manip.

Please let me know what you think. Constructive criticism is appreciated. Especially on my attempt to exaggerate the depth of field and points of focus.

All stock used was shot by me.
PS - a couple hours (over a period of several days)

i love this concept!! only critique is that the tree and the arm have different light sources. the tree's light is on its left and the hands light is on it's right. otherwise this is amazing!

awesome pic dude ^^ very nice idea.... the roots rock!! XD oh but some of the background isn't shaved off the trunk and the white spots of light showing through the tree look cool but they look un-natural since the background's dark reddish colour anyways awesome pic ^^
